Audio track is red!!!

Hi!

I've been working on a few projects with FCPX since I purchased it and until now, everything went approximately fine.

But today, as I start a new project, it appears that every audio track that is inserted is RED instead of green, and I can't see the audio «waves», making this whole project pretty hard to work on!

Since I don't have any clue of what happened to this project in particular, i'm asking you! Any idea of what created this problem and how to solve it?

For the records, the only difference between this project and the previons ones is that new mic I used during the recording. May it be the cause?

This only happens to me when certain audio from different sources are applied...Including purchased songs from itunes

This only happens to the audio in the project, not in browser?

I assume the audio works, that you hear it and the meters move.

Try trashing the render files. Do it with the application closed and dump the whole folder called Render Files.

Exactly!

I will certainly keep that solution in mind whenever this problem comes back.

For now, I simply restarted the app and VOILA! Everything is back to normal. (I know, I should have done this before writing here lol.)
