I have a HP Color LaserJet 1525NW and it caught "Error 49"

I did all I could, unplugging it turning it off letting it sit unplugged all night, for it and it is still flashing ERROR 49 is there hope for it can it be repaired?

HP Color Laserjet 1525NW-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Hi,

Ensure you have the latest firmware which seems to deal witrh the specific error:

Fixes: Fixed several issues including a 49 error and incorrectly handling the number of copies for some types of Postscript files.

I found out how to fix my printer. I HAD to install it on a PC running Windows 7 then I was able to run the HP Print Diagnostic Utility and I was ablbe to do a hard reset. Why does HP make support so hard for Mac users?
