Really long text
I sent a really long text and I can't text the person that I sent the message to. Does anybody know how to fix this?
That doesn't make sense.

I sent a really long text on my iPhone 4s and now when I try to click their name it freezes.
Try a reset: Press the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the came time for ten seconds until the Apple logo appears. Note: No data will be lost
So if you're in the Messages app, you see the person's name but when you click on it nothing happens?
Or are you trying to send a new text and it's freezing?
I would but I remember that I did that once and it wiped all the information off of my phone.
It's a reset... not a restore... no data will be lost...
I click on the name but when I do it turns blue and it freezes the messages app.
Shut down and restart the Messages app...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red ➖ to delete the Messages app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the Messages app
Is it every person or just one? Maybe the peson you're trying to reach doesn't have a signal and it's hanging up iMessage. I've had that problem before.
I have already tried that but it doesn't work
It's just the one person. And I'm on FaceTime with them so I know that their iMessage is working.
Just delete the conversation and try a new Message and see if it does same thing.

I'll do that if I have to but I'd rather not. I had thought of that but I was trying to think of a way that doesn't require deleting the messages
Does it happen with any other person or just this one person in particular?
