When using Camera to upload pictures to Facebook, unable to see on Timeline.

Went to a picture in my Camera Roll on iPhone and uploaded to Facebook via the share button. The picture was nowhere to be seen on my timeline or on my profile. I tried multiple times with no luck. Upon closer look, the pictures I uploaded WERE in my "IOS Photos" album. So they made it to Facebook, however, they were nowhere to be seen on my profile or timeline. I then tried uploading directly to my timeline by opening up the Facebook App and that worked as expected. I've seen problems out there where users can't upload photos from iPhone to Facebook because their Privacy settings were turned OFF but that is not the case with mine. Much appreciated if anyone can help me out.
