How to navigate to trailers.apple.com from Apple's homepage?
Is the section in the sitemap? Is there a link anywhere on the website I'm missing?
If yes, where is it? if no, why not?

No direct link I can find. The only way I find the trailer page is to search the site for "trailers". Why this is the case is something none of us here can say. You can comment to Apple on the matter via their website feedback page if you wish:
