In numbers how do I write a subtraction formula I want to subtract a from b and put answer in c

In Numbers I am tryng to subtract A from B and put answer in C. Is there a way to do this?

in cell C1 enter the text "=B1-A1" then hit the enter key. Now enter numbers in cells A1 and B1


Alternatively you can enter a fomula by typeing the "=" in any cell, then click another cell, then ano operator like "+", "-", "*", or "/" , then some other cell (or cells).
