Please help me with this as I have spent way too many hours trying to work out this problem...searching websites, rebooting, pulling plugs out, etc.

I recently switched from Cablevision to FIOS.  Prior to switching I had my AX connected for wireless printing only and everything worked perfectly.

My printer and AX are in the basement.  The verizon router is on the main floor hardwired into a desktop PC computer.  I have an iMac on the same floor and various laptops (mac and PC) and ipads that need to print and all were fine with the old set up.  I cannot run cables through the ceiling/or floor to the AX.  I never had to with the LINKSYS router.  I have Verizon for internet, TV, and phone (if that matters). My AX is blinking Amber right now.

I cannot imagine there is not some help page on Verizon's website that shows step by step how to do this.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me with this?

I am not super technical, but totally understand steps and don't mind changing settings if I know it will work.

I believe I need to enter the WPA2 security key somewhere from the router but have looked on both my PC laptop and my iMac for a spot to do this and can't find it anywhere.

Last point....Everytime I enter the Airport utitlity it can't recognize it and asks me to rescan. I also can't access the manual set up option on the bottom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  When I called, Verizon says they don't help set up printers and my AX is probably 4 years old and so is my iMac so I can't imagine I can call and get support on them either?
