Borders in Pages

I downloaded several borders and installed them through my font book. However I want to change the lines of my shapes to reflect the downloaded borders. Is there a way to import the border fonts to the "line" drop down in the inspector?

That isn't how border fonts work.

You have to type the borders across the page and down the sides, much like tiles. Each design will be a particular letter on the keyboard, you can find which is which by simply selecting the fonta nd running your finger across the keys.

To capture the end result as a graphic they should be converted in a vector drawing program or the text box they are in exported as a .pdf file.
