fatal: the Postfix mail system is not running

Hello,

I get this message in SMTP log file, although the mail service is working fine.

After stopping and starting the mail service, the log is showing this:

Feb 16 14:05:07 myserver postfix/postfix-script[29634]: fatal: the Postfix mail system is not running

Feb 16 14:05:23 myserver postfix/postfix-script[29704]: fatal: the Postfix mail system is not running

But again, mail is working well (sending and receiving messages works).

I just noticed that the spam filter may not work, it does not mark spam mails (although the filter's log file shows activity). But I guess this happened because of the fact that the server has been installed a few days before and the filter may be in training phase (correct ?).

Is this something to worry about ? A way to track down the problem ?
