Quickly send digital vcard via email

Increasingly, I find myself meeting someone and being asked to send my vcard (typically by email). I do this now by going to contacts, finding my own card, and then choosing the share option. But this is a clumsy, multi-step process - especially with fat fingers like mine!

Is there a way to create an 'app like' icon on my iphone that could do everything described above, so that all I need to enter is the email address of the person to whom I'd like to send my data?

I have looked at a few apps, such as Bump, that seem to do the job, but include some advertising (of themselves). Is there an Applescript type of approach to this? Or some other type of macro?
