Just upgraded to the new iTunes and cannot figure it out!

Q: How do I transfer a purchased song onto my ipod?
Sync the media to the device the same way you always have.
Connect the device.
Open iTunes.
Select the device in iTunes.
Select the content desired to sync and sync.
