IMovie is failing to export to Camera Roll.

I have a completed iMovie project comprised of photos and video clips. I am trying to share it to Camera Roll. The screen appears saying the project is being exported. The progress bar advances normally, seeming to show the export is going properly. Once the bar reaches the end iMovie closes spontaneously. Nothing shows up in the Camera Roll. No error message displays, the app just closes.
