Console messages - please explain!

Hi, I'm completely new to the community on here - sincere aplologies if this question has been asked before, but I have searched through here and Google but could not find a satisfactory answer.

My Macbook Pro has been running slow for some time and I finally stumbled upon Console - I've read the messages below, but I'm stumped as to what they actually mean... could somebody please enlighten me?

The line which has me stumped is Spotify, thought I had removed it completely and properly, but it's just hanging around.

Many thanks in advance!

Well, you know what Spotify is, and Qmaster is a component of Final Cut Studio / Compressor. Essentially, all these messages are to do with startup scripts which are trying to communicate with their parent applications, in some cases without success.

You can clean up your system startup scripts by looking in /Library/Startup, /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons. Also look in your specific user startup folders - your Library folder is hidden but you'll see it by clicking the Option key on the Finder's Go menu. Also delete from your System Preferences - Accounts panel anything listed in Login Items that you don't want.
