Can I watch movies on my iPad from my portable storage device?
Going on holidays and want to download movies onto portable storage device (WD Passport) so i can watch on iPad

There are some wifi-enabled drives that you can use that can stream content to an iPad e.g. GoFlex Satellite. If your drive needs to be connected by cable then you won't be able to use it with the iPad.
