Play movie in different aspect ratio

When I play a HD Movie on my iPad, it plays at a 16:9 aspect ratio. Is there a setting or app that will allow me to change the aspect ratio so the movie fills the entire iPad 4 screen?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (VZ), iOS 5.1.1
