iPad can't find me HP ePrinter

I installed a new Belkin wireless router. My HP e printer is installed and pickes up the signal from the router just fine. My iPad also has wifi, I get on the Internet, no problem. I can't print from pages or notes, but I can print from the e print app. The message says "can't find air printer".
