Parts of my iphone 4 screen has stop responding to my touch,.. it has been dropped a few times so i gather that's the reason, but i cant access my iphone at all, just wondering will replacing the screen fix this?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

If none of this resolves the issue, take the device to Apple for evaluation. For $149 they will replace it under the Out of Warranty program and you'll get a 90 day warranty.
