Fans always on

I'm useing my MBP in clam shel mode with an 24" monitor, but the fans are on pritty mush most of the time now spinning at 51000rpm, not full on but always on. Even when my monitor has turned itself off and its suposed to be asleep. Any ideas?

Fans are always on, they never shut completely off. That is unless you turn the system Off.

But depending on what you are doing on the Mac having it in clamshell mode should not make the system hot enough to make the fans spin at or above 5000RPMs.

What model is it? A Retina? If so please post that as that is completely different then the standard models.

If a Retina there are many bugs in that model. One of them the system heating up when the lid is closed. Whether on in clamshell mode or even in sleep mode.

Sorry what do you mean with the word Concert?

I don't understand that sentence. Did you mean the Unit as in the computer? It's not doing anything? No Programs running, and I do mean NO Programs running.
