iCloud is out of sync with Calendar on iMac

On my iMac my calendar appoints are all up to date and how they should be. However when I access the iCloud and other mobile devices using the cloud, I have some appointments missing or simply not showing.

I've checked these appointments as thought they may be on no cloud calendars but they are all included in calendars which are set to be on the iCloud.

My iMac is the correct version so how do I go about pushing the information back into the iCloud and making it correct and up to date?

All the advice online seems to provide guidance on pushing information the other way, which would totally wreck my appointments. Anybody got an easy way to correct this?

I've just had both my calendar on Mac open and iCloud calendar open on Safari. I identified a few of the missing appointments, deleted them and then reinput. The strange thing is that even though I set some of them to repeat for x number of sessions, the show as they should in calendar. However on iCloud they only decide to show a few not all of them. Simpy makes no sense.
