I've had 3 POP mail accounts--all hosted on the same hosting server--working just fine side by side for over a year.


Two days ago one of those accounts stopped receiving in Mac Mail 5.3 (on OS X 10.7.5). It asks me for a password and does not stop asking, and does not download any mail. I've checked the email account on webmail and there is new email waiting to be downloaded.

I've reset the password on the server, tried the Connection Doctor and taken all accounts offline then online; nothing has worked.


Why are 2 accounts still working perfectly, but one is not?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
