To manage your iCloud storage, on your iPhone, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, so you will see everthing that it's stored in iCloud

Feb 17, 2013 8:22 AM in response to Tannwestby mende1,Delete more data. Also, if you are backing up your iPhone onto iCloud, you can select your iPhone backup in "Manage Storage" and delete things that takes a lot of space from your backup

Sep 4, 2013 6:05 PM in response to Tannwestby Dsmit024,To delete items from your iCloud storage you must first delete the items from your phone that you no longer want. Next go to Settings->General->Usage. Scroll down to the section that reads "iCloud" then tap manage storage. Click the device whether it be an iPhone or iPad. A list of everything that is being store on iCooud will appear turn some of the items that you do not need off. For pictures turn it off AFTER you have deleted the pictures or videos you do not want. Give it a few minutes then turn it back on. Perform a backup & there you go!
