To reset your Mac to factory settings, follow these steps:

1. Press Command and R keys while your Mac is starting to start into OS X Recovery. When it has started, open Disk Utility.

2. When Disk Utility has opened, select Macintosh HD in the sidebar, go to Erase tab and erase the disk.

3. Close Disk Utility, select the option to reinstall OS X and follow its steps to reinstall OS X
