Although previously I have had no problem connecting my ipad to my PC today it wouldn't connect saying it couldn't find the driver so I uninstalled the driver and tried to re-install it but although it found the driver it wouldn't re-install with the error code 28. The only thing I have done differently recently is I connected my ipad to my TV and watched a movie from YouTube

I have sent you an email but for anyone else with the same problem, I fully charged my iPad as recomended in a book I have and as I was doing this I received an update to the iPad operating system which I installed then when I connected my iPad to my computer it found and installed the driver for the iPad as it is supposed to do with plug and play and now it is back to normal. I hope this is of help.
