WI-FI Issues

I've been having a wifi issue as it keeps dropping, then being perfectly fine again.

This happens every hour or so and wont let me get back onto my wifi connection for around 5mins, My family say its something to do with my computer, staff at apple disagree and also there is nothing wrong with my wifi modem at all as we've recently bought a brand new one (Netgear WNDR4500) but the problem is still consistent, I've done hours of research, did everything everyone said and nothing works :/ Help?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Does another computer or device connect and remain connected?

Restart the router.

Try booting into the Safe Mode and see if the problem is the same.

Safe Mode - About

In System Preferences/Network, try deleting Wi-Fi and then adding it back in.

Yes, around 3 laptops remain connected and 4 iphones internet never drops.

I've also done what you tried and it still occurs.

I have read in other threads that some people were experiencing interference due to Bluetooth being on.
