HD music files

HD music files

I recently used the migration assistant to move files from a 2009 Mac Book to a 2011 Mac Mini. It seems the applicatins moved but without the files. Decibel moved but left 32 GB of HD music on the HD Tracks located on the desk top. How would one suggest I move the actual files?

MacBook Air (11-inch Late 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I have tried this on two occasions and though it appears to work, ie. other applications move, I cannot locate the music files that are in my HD tracks that are located in the desktop. Suggestions?
