formulas based on a checkbox to set parameters
I need to be able to check a box that correspondes to a day, and then use an "IF" formula based on the box that is checked.

Ande,
I'm not sure what your question is.
Jerry
I want to be able to check a box (Sat - Fri) and that box dictate what data is used in an "IF" formula
=IF(checkbox cell, formula based on check box)
ande,
1) I think since there are no check boaxes in your screen shots it is difficult to glean the intent of the check box AND how it fits in. Often the layout makes the use clear.
2) Where d o you want the if() function to reside that uses the checkbox as an input?

I am using this formula:
=IF('Sat - Fri Breakdown' :: A5,(Hourly Breakdown Hr :: C2*$B$2))
When I check the box under Saturday, the formula takes the number from the bottom table and multiplies it by a set percentage.
What I need to do is make the range of the formula contingent on what check box is selected in the table at the top of the sheet.
Can you describe what the effect of checking the other boxes needs to be when the boxes are checked? What do you want to have happen when a box is not checked?
Jerry
Oops.... there are checkboxes in the very top table 😉
I figured it out....thanks
I still have no clue what your problem was, so I'm glad you figured it out.
