I sent an itunes giftcard via email abot an hour ago, still not received.  How long does it take to arrive?

    When I send them they arrive in seconds.

    Ask the recipient to check Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether.

    Also see if you are able to resend the email by following these steps.

    If the problem persists, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

    i to am having this problem the card i nowhere to be seen. unable to report a problem the link does not take me anywhere just a page not found section.

    Same problem here. I sent my son a gift card about 15 minutes ago, and he has not received it. I've double-checked his e-mail address, he's checked his spam folder, and I've hit "Resend Gift" in the iTunes store a number of times.

    Same issue here. Been waiting about an hour, resent twice, checked spam and trash...nada. And I know they already billed me for it. Glad I'm not alone. :)

    Mine NEVER go through.  I've just gotten in the habit of going into iTunes and clicking on resend right after purchasing the gift.  Unfortunately, that isn't working anymore either, so I'm sitting on a $5 purchase for my son that I cannot redeem.  *****!

    Like others, the email didn't go through after about an hour.  I tried the link provided above -- Your Purchase History -- and was able to retrieve the code.  Email still not received, but at least I could share the code so it could be redeemed.  (This was my way to add a credit to my iTS account.  I gifted myself.  But it seemed like the sender of the gift code would be able to see it.)  YMMV

    It was at the link I gave above. It will launch iTunes and prompt you to log in to see your purchase history.


    Alternatively, go into the iTunes Store, click on your user name at the very top left, and choose account. You'll be prompted for your login again and then you can find your purchase history.

    Oh, I got all that, but nowhere in my purchase history does it show me the code.

    My friend had sent me a gift on iTunes and I haven't got my redeem code yet sent to my email

    I just looked at my own account -- and it no longer shows the code.  Maybe it showed the code that *one* time because I was also the recipient -- or perhaps because I was the sender and the code hadn't been redeemed yet.  If you're the recipient, try going to the iTunes store, going to the account area, and seeing if the code is shown there somewhere . . . maybe under gifts.


    Otherwise, I don't know.  Good luck.

    You can check if everything is right.


    If you go to appstore scroll down to apple id. Click it. Then click view my apple id. Sign in. Then a gifts button is there.


    Click that and you can view who you sent it to or if you want send it again.

    Thank you! This worked. I sent it to my girlfriend's school email account and I think they filter out emails like this from external addresses. I was able to retrieve the code and send.
