ApplicationsHi,
In the Finder (Have any window open) use the Go Menu whilst Holding down the ALT/Option key
This reveals the Library in the menu list.
Select this.
Then navigate to Preferences.
Alternatively use the Go Menu > Go to Folder and then type that path into the dialogue box (including the leading ~)

Apr 13, 2015 1:51 PM in response to Old_Soul_Roninby cebritt,You need to go to the Go menu in Finder and select Go to Folder... It's a hidden system folder so you can't see it with the normal Find.

Oct 5, 2015 12:10 AM in response to AlwaysLEby udayjoge,After editing the font and size of my desire under Mail -> Preferences -> Fonts & Colors ,I just clicked "command+s" as there was no button option to save and it worked for me. I am able to change the font/size of my desire.
Do try and let me know if it works. All the best. Cheers

I know it's a little thing but it really ticked me off not being able to change the default font.

I had an email about a new post to this Thread.
It says at the top:-
However I cannot see TommyHealy's Post.
The Thread is three years old with some later additions but it still has been a while since anyone posted.
EDIT.Now that I have posted I can see the errant post. (the old "hide til new post" issue)

Aug 9, 2016 10:29 PM in response to Old_Soul_Roninby Shi'an,When in the Finder hold down the Option key and select the Go menu from the top of the screen.
With the Option key held down the Library should appear in the list for you to select.
Once in the Library simply scroll down to find the Preferences folder.
