Q: how do i close all apps on iPad?

Is there a way to close all open apps on niPad without having to shutdown each app individually?

I am trying to minimise battery usage and i wondered if there was a way to shutdown mutliple apps rather than one at a time......

No, there is no way to shut them all down. However, if you want to minimize battery usage, you can shut down notifications and/or location services for Apps. That'll pretty much reduce any app's battery usage while in the background.
