I cannot unsubscribe from auto-renewal of Time magazine

I read everyone's info and followed the directions about going to my account, signing in and going to manage subscriptions, but when I click on Manage, in the next page I do not have an option for turning off auto-renewal. The screen shows me my subscription for Time magazine, and shows me Renewal Options of one month or 1 year. There is NO place for me to unsubscribe. No buttons or options to unsubscribe. PLEASE help!!

Your subscription ends on February 26th. You have to choose an option if you want to renew the way that I read this. It looks like you don't have to do anything. Your subscription will be over on the 26th.

BTW - you have posted in the iPad forum and you are obviously doing this in iTunes on your computer. What I posted for you is what you should see on and iOS device.

I tried to stop the auto-renewal in January and thought it was done. Now there is no choice- no button to click on to stop auto-renewal.

I was charged for an additional month on Feb 15th even though the auto-renewal isn't until Feb 26th. It appears the magazine subscription is set up for auto-renewal and I don't want it to auto-renew, but as you can see, it appears that I do not have anyway to stop it from auto-renewing on a monthly basis. On Feb 26th it will renew itself for another month.

I tried this on both my iPad and on my computer. I deleted the app from all devices hoping that would then give me the option to stop auto-renewal. It appears to be a never ending circle, and I want to get off.

I understand that you want it to end. I obviously wasn't aware of the background details coming into this situation.

When you attempt to stop the subscription on the iPad you are not seeing what I posted above? And by the way, deleting the app has no affect on this at all which you now realize.

Have you tried it again on your iPad?

I wish!! This link requires a subscription #, but on my charge and on iTunes it just lists it as an iTunes purchase. I have written to Times Media, but no reply. Thanks so much for your ideas and for continuing to look into this. Its like a scam, and I am thinking the only way out is to delete my charge card from iTunes, which means deleting my iTune account. I really don't want to do this!! I have contacted my credit card company stating not to pay the amount, but the iTunes bill on my charge is for the entire amount due on 3 separate purchases on 3 days in February. So I don't think that will work.

I am really at a loss.

Thanks Tom.

Unfortunately I already tried all the instructions listed on the Gadget magazine article. When I get to Manage Subscriptions, I do not get the button to turn off auto-renewal. My only choices are renew for one month or renew for a year, and the magazine already auto-renewed for a month. And I can't seem to stop the magazine from auto-renewing.

But thanks for the link to send an email for iTunes support.
