Question about protection

I bought an iPad mini from meijer and I was wanting to buy apple care for it at the apple store. If i purchased apple care and had a problem with my ipad down the road would i take my iPad to meijer or to the apple store for repair and service?

Generally, you have two possibilities open to you. Let's say Meijer has a 90 day return policy. If your iPad messes up in those 90 days then you can return it to them and exchange it for another one. (or whatever their policy is). Beyond that point, for the rest of your warranty, you have to deal with Apple.


If you'd purchased your iPad from the Apple store, then the only place you could deal with is them.


and yes, let's say at 180 days your iPad malfunctions and you take it to the apple store, they exchange your malfunctioning one for a refurbished replacement.
