Having, at some point in the past, turned off the automatic error reporting to Apple, I now find that it would be a good idea if I did send the data to them.
However, the option to turn on the automatic upload appears to be a one way route and so I was wondering if there was a command line sentance that I could use to reinstate the upload?

Console app preferences.
Click the Gold lock in the left corner of the following preference panel to unlock it. Then, select:
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Send diagnostic & usage data to Apple
Click the Gold lock icon again to secure.
