I have just swithched to Comcast--have an iMac and first generation Time Capsule--with internet and phone. Have been hearing about Apple/Comcast incompatibility and am wondering which cable modem I should purchase?

How come you ask the question in the forum for the application Pages? The forums on Apple is for the apple products. You might get an answer on a more general site for Macintosh users.
I use a Motorola Surfboard moden with Comcast. Other than occasionally having to reset it by unplugging it, it has worked well for years.
But I understand that modem will not work with Comcast phone.
Best modem for Comcast?
