How to downgrade to Java6 with OS X 10.8.2?

Since the update of OS X 10.8.2 I am unable to run an java 6 based program, any solutions?

It had nothing to do with your update to 10.8.2, Apple disable Java SE 6 with browsers for all Lion / Mountain Lion users and has chosen not to update it to a safe version.


If you must use Java 6 for some reason, your best bet would be to use Windows in a virtual environment and install Java SE 6 there.
