Stoppping the Relocation Process in Aperture 3

Is there any way to stop/cancel the Relocation Process in Aperture 3? I did not relize that it does not work in the background and have to get into my work? Is "Force Quit" the only way? Will it destroy the Database with Force Quite? Thanks!!

There is no way to quit it. Force-quitting will almost certainly damage your Library (it will almost certainly not "destroy" it -- the damage is likely to be reparable). Even if it does not visibly damage your Library, you should always run "Repair" after force-quitting Aperture.

Your best bet is to let it run. If you cannot, then force-quit, do what you have to do, and run "Repair" tonight or earlier.
