Update iWeb

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I updated to 1.1, and while i appreciate i can duplicate the pages of my site (which was not possible before), i cannot add 1.0 templates to my site. That is quite disappointing. I get an error message that the index.xml is missing.

another friend who updated to 1.1 does not have this problem.

I'd appreciate some help on this as I would like to stick with my current web design (1.0, plain blak)

i finally found the solution for the problem.
I realized the new 1.1 was setup in italian (my PB's main language is italian) but i switched this to english on 1.01, because i wanted the "email me" and "made on a mac" icons appear in english in the site, once published.

For some reason when I installed 1.1, he switched back again to italian, but this created a conflict, in fact i could not even open the Help" in iWeb.

I went to iWeb icon in application, right clicked and opened info, and then i un-thicked all the languages except english (and i realized the were two "italian" thick boxes, hence the conflict).

I can now open the 1.0 templates, as well as the Help.

I didn't publish, yet, as I have to finish the update, so not sure now everything works fine (i saw a lot of noise in the forum on the 1.1 update) but as least i solved this problem!

i could not believe i was not able to use anymore the old templates as all my website is done with one of them!

One good thing of 1.1 that i have noticed, is that you can duplicate an existing page (1.0 did not allow this) and this saves a lot of time, especially if you have customized your pages!
