Try the following:

  • If connected to a power strip, connect the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) directly to a wall outlet instead.
  • If you need to use a power strip, connect the AX to an outlet that is NOT adjacent to another power adapter.
  • If you have an earlier model of the AX that plugs directly into the wall, try getting an extension cable for the AX and plug the extension cable into the outlet or power strip.
