Can I use a 5 V, 1.8 A wall charger with a USB port to charge my iPod?
I have a wall plug charger with USB port that is rated at 5V and 1.8A. Can I safely use this to charge my iPod?

Yes. It will work fine. The iPod circuit limits the amps to the iPod.
