When using my iPhone5 with my Motorola bluetooth, I often hear a click and it mutes the person I am speaking with BUT the person can hear me perfectly. I then have to switch to the speaker function and switch back to the bluetooth. Any fixes?

When using the iPhone 5 with my Motorola bluetooth headset, a clicking noise is heard and then the person on the other end goes mute. However, the other person can still hear me perfectly. I have to switch to the speaker mode and then switch back to the bluetooth headset. I have used the same bluetooth with my Blackberry and i have never had this issue. How can I avoid this?
