how do you calibrate an iMac 21" screen?

I've been trying to color-calibrate the monitor (screen) on my iMac 21". There is a very rough built-in process, but I have a Monaco OPTIX calibrator and Monaco software. However, once I've run a test and see how the RGB scales are out of range, I don't know how to adjust the monitor to bring the RGB results into range.

Anyone?
