Recovering deleted files

So a while ago I burned some DVDs for my sister so we can make copies. But today I needed to make new copies but I couldn't find them where I burned them in the disk utility. Idk what's going on,I didn't really name them but I guess insanity. Where can I go to find them because I look them up I finder but I can't did them.i was able to get 1 or 2 from disk utility but I'm sure I made more. What can Ido. Please reply soon ad thank you
