My iphone 4s is stuck in recovery mode. When i connect it to Itunes and try to update it i keep getting an error -1 message. how do i fix my phone?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1

Error 1 or -1 is a hardware issue. Take the device to Apple or whomever provides support in your country.
