Macbook Stuck in installation.
I purchased a Macbook from a friend because he forgot his admin password and bought a new MacBook Pro. I googled how to get around this and used this "solution". I restarted my Macbook and held the command+s at the apple screen. And then I used the following commands...
mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now
After doing this I turned my Macbook back on and it started to go through the installation as if I had just purchased it, I began by choosing a language, wireless network, apple ID and so on. Once I completed what I assume was the last step, which was making the new addministrative account. It just starts all over again and takes me back to the screen where I select a language. Can anyone tell me how to correct this please???
