How do I change the number in iMessage on my iPad?
I already have a number on it but it isn't the right one
iPad, iOS 6.1.1
Basically you have to turn off Messages and sign out and then start all over again. The iPhone number that you want to use must be associated with your Apple ID or it will not work.
