Nikon D800E, Image Capture, Lightroom4.3

I am unable to tether my Nikon D800E on my MBPwR.

When I connect and power on the D800E, Image Capture loads, lists the camera for about 2 seconds, and then disconnects. If I go to Lightroom and start a tethered session, it does not see the connected camera.

Any suggestions?
