Why won't boot camp burn the windows support software to my disc?

I have a Macbook Pro with retina display, just in case that matters. I bought it in early January, and I'm running OS X 10.8, I believe. My problem is that I installed windows 7 on my MBP fine, but now it won't connect or even detect my wireless connection. I did some research and I now believe that this is because I didn't install the windows support software. I tried burning it to a disc through boot camp, but it stops the burn about halfway through. It has some error message saying that it cannot burn to the disc; I've retried this several times only to get the same result. My MBP didn't come with the OS X disc and I've heard that this resolves the problem. If you have any information, I would greatly appricate it. Thanks in advance 🙂
