4S here, still having battery drain after 6.1.2

Apple really needs to get this solved...I lost 7% in 8 hours, everything turned off except the phone itself. How can a phone sitting on my desk with no wifi, no location services, no siri, no maps, no iCloud and on lock mode drain so much?

PERSONALLY, I have a different theory and I think it involves the cell towers in my area.

In December, my cousin was visiting and when we tried to use LTE here it was all wonky.

I think that the way the phone communicates with towers is the culprit and this is why some people have battery drain and some don't. Almost like the phone is pinging the towers too much.

Just a crazy idea.

My phone had a long battery life until I downloaded 6.1.2, now it is going from 100% and shutting off within 3 hours. It shut off the first night and my alarm didn't go off for me to wake up for work. I can't use this phone now, it just dies so quickly, I have to keep it plugged in. I might as well go back to using a landline. I have always been a huge apple supporter but this is unacceptable. Steve Jobs would be rolling in his grave to see what is happening to apple. I thought the Blackberry was a joke but if this keeps up that is where I am going to be going!

Wow, that is awful. I am actually starting to dread looking at my battery life as it is making me depressed.

I am really surprised that Apple is not bearing down on this issue because battery is a digital quality of life issue. Without juice, it's a brick.

Happygirl, are you using exchange for e-mail and such? Do you use any of the online services like iCloud?
