My macbook wont charge batteries - help!

Question

My 2006 13" macbook wont charge any battery. I have a mbp 15" mid 2009 with a similar problem. My battery is recognized properly but it won&#x27;t charge and it is not used as a power source. I have tried the suggested on/off/sleep… combinations and PRAM and SMC resests. I have tried several chargers with the same result. I had no opportunity to test another battery.
