    The iPad simply can't provide a lot of power to devices so some will display that message.

     

    If your camera tries to charge form the camera connection kit you will get that message.

     

    Some Cameras have a file transfer setting, that lowers the power requirements. You may want to check for that on your camera.

     

    Alternatively you can place a powered USB hub between the camera and the Camera connection kit to supply the camera with power.
