i had installd a final cur pro x and i install a final pro cut but it does not come up so how can i get red of the final pro cut x and find the other one thanks
Simply drag the app to the trash and delete it.
Alternatively use this free app to trash everything but make sure you select only FCP X and deselect everything else
Proper installation is to install Final Cut Studio first. Then install Final Cut Pro X.
The Final Cut Pro X installation will place the Final Cut Studio apps into a folder called "Final Cut Studio". Since you can't have two "Final Cut Pro" apps in the same folder. Then you'd launch FCP X from the Applications folder, and lanuch FCP 7 from the Applications > Final Cut Studio folder.
Both can live on the same system at the same time quite easily.
